On january 2nd, 2009 Aaron and I's lives changed forever.
Okay, that sounds a bit dramatic, but its true.

Lily Helen Dean came into this world with a "bang!" that day, and she has had me and her daddy wrapped around her itty bitty finger ever since. Being a parent is the hardest thing Ive ever done, but is definetly the most meaningful thing Ive ever done,too. The most challenging, yet most rewarding. Im more tired, but it has made me appreciate that little amount of sleep I DO have. I have less time and money to spend on myself, and it has made me more appreciative of the things I have, and every little gift I recieve...and every time I have a moment to myself, or a moment alone with Aaron, it feels so good and is all the more special to me. Lily is no doubt a gift from the Gods above, and I am so thankful to have her in my life...even if she does keep us up all night.

I learn something new about myself almost everyday. I've decided to start writing these little things down...I'll probably update this journal alot, any time I can think of something. Who knows, maybe I'll even turn it into a collage or something.

2. I could watch QVC for hours
3. I believe that anything is possible
4. I think Ellen Degeneres is totally adorable
5. I like the smell of fried onions
6. I wish I could spend one day in the Playboy mansion
7. Guys with muscles = lame
8. I’m obsessed with Halloween
9. I cant sing "Imagine" by John Lennon with out crying a little... Yeah, aww lol
10. Being a medium-empath scares the shit out of me
11. The sounds of trains relaxes me

So as you can see my creative juices are once again flowing! lol.
Actually, creativity and inspiration was never the case. I've had tons of ideas come popping in and out of my head, but never the time to work on anything. For the past 6 months I've had only baby on the brain! lol. Now that Aaron and I's lives are getting back in order, and I'm worrying less, I have more time for my art and stuff! Yesssuhhhh.

12 days, 2 hours, and 44 minutes until Aaron and I move into our new apartment! I can not wait. We'll finally have a place to call our own and bring our little girl home to. Its going to be so nice. I cant wait to get started on Lily's room. Her nursery theme is "winnie the pooh"...we have so much Winnie The Pooh stuff for her. lol.

I just uploaded some videos of her moving in my belly. Heres the links if you guys wanna watch. Its pretty freaky. lol...watching my belly twitch and jump, knowing because theres a living human being moving inside there!

The lady just called me to tell me we've got it! Aaron doesnt even know yet. lol..I cant wait to tell him!

Its a 2 bedroom, with a bathroom, living room, and a kitchen. This means Lily will have her own room, YAYY. We'll be moving in October 1st.

Rent is $425 a month plus utilities. That's REALLY REALLY good.

OMG I AM SO EXCITED!

Oh my goodness. My baby shower was theeee best. My mother in law and my sister did an amazing job with everything. The decorations were gorgeous, the fancy food was delicious, the games were fun and got lots of laughs. TONS of people showed up and everyone seemed to have a fun time. Lily got so many nice things! Everyone kept saying how our daughter is going to be the best dressed baby around! lol. For those of you who don't know, Lily is our baby's name-- Lily Helen Dean. <3<3<3

Lily has been moving around like crazy in there. Aaron is able to feel it now, too. He LOVES feeling our little girl kick. It's so cute- I love watching him smile when it happens. Here's a cute story: A few nights ago, we were lying in bed together and I didnt think he'd get to feel her because she hadnt been moving around much that day...he kept talking to her, talking to my belly "Wake up, Lily! Wake up"..he even shook my belly a little...It was adorable. She was completely still in there...so we just kinda forgot about it and started kissing..and as soon a we started smooching she gave me a nice big kick! and then two more so that Aaron could feel. lol. He said that it gave it butterflies in his stomach, just like when we had our first kiss. Awwwww!

Tonight I'm leaving to go on vacation with my family to New Jersey. Im pretty stoked, but a little frustrated too right now-- I can't find my bakini! RAWR. I think I might have left it in my Aaron's car, but I'm not sure if I will be able to get it before I leave. I can't wait to take pictures on the beach.
